The DNA of The Message is like a double helix; one strand is Creative Expression and the other is Urban Outreach. Woven together the possibilities are infinite!
Since 2001 we've been training gifted young people in creative ways of putting their faith into action. Some rap, some dance, some preach, some take to the streets of the inner city. And in the future some will do stuff that we've not even dreamed of doing yet!
In June 2006 we opened our brand new training centre and launched the fully fledged genetik twin-track model, offering 2 parallel training options: Urban or Creative. The twin-tracks share certain aspects of training, e.g. Biblical studies, Evangelistic Ministry and Discipleship; but split out for skills development and topical workshops.
Alongside these full-time residential training courses which run twice a year (spring and autumn) we offer regular sessional workshops for young people and youth groups and also hire out our studios to bands and artists embarking on careers in the music business.
