As the country’s young people start returning to school after the long summer break, our three bands and theatre company are gearing up for our busiest ever autumn term.
A total of 22 confirmed schools weeks are already booked in with another four potential weeks in the pipeline for LZ7, Blush, Twelve24 and In Yer Face.
‘It’s really exciting to see the demand for our schools teams this autumn,’ comments Nathan Milnes, the Message’s schools outreach coordinator. ‘We want to keep this pace up for the rest of the year which means that more young people than ever are going to benefit from our positive message.‘
In 2008, our teams were received by a total of 38 schools and an estimated 40,000 pupils, delivering excellent RE and PHSE lessons, assemblies, extracurricular activities and concerts.
