Twelve24 have released a video for The Sex Song, one of the most popular tracks from their recent EP, Better Words.

Filmed on the streets of Manchester and produced by The Message’s in-house creative team, it reinforces the song’s bold message, as Josh from the band explains:

‘Twelve24 are making a stand! As we release our music video for The Sex Song, we are hoping to have a big impact on our overly-sexualized society, sharing the truth that sex is a BIG deal and that we are all worth so much to God that we shouldn’t give it away so cheaply and talk about it so loosely.

‘One Direction’s new video was seen by 2 million young people in the first day and contains lyrics such as “I know we’ve only just met, but let’s just pretend it’s love, tonight let’s get some and live while we’re young”. This is what 13 year old girls are getting told by big pop stars! This is what kids are listening to and if nobody makes a stand it will only get worse.

‘So join us! Tweet it, Facebook it, show it to your kids get it around wherever you can! #thesexsongvideo!’
