Across Wales, we’re working in schools, communities, prisons and on the streets sharing the love of Jesus in word and action.

In schools

Our Respect ME teams and school workers go into schools telling young people about their true identity and value as they deliver RE lessons and PSE lessons from a Christian perspective.
In the past 12 months, we’ve seen just over 2,500 pupils in schools and are excited to be bringing the Higher Tour back to Wales again next year!

Bringing young people closer to Jesus

Lift is our termly youth outreach event with performances by Christian bands and a relevant gospel talk with the opportunity for young people to respond. These events are always fun, noisy and gospel-focused – young people love them! We’ve got more Lift events planned for the next academic year, and in 2020 we’re planning to run more termly Lift events with hopes to bring it to other regions.
We’ve always been and continue to be passionate about encouraging and supporting local churches, their youth leaders, and youth groups to provide space for young people to hear and respond to the gospel.

‘We’ve been taking a small group of young people to Lift events for the past 18 months. At each of these events, some of the young people have responded to a clear and relevant message that the band have put across. At the last one, two of our youngest group members responded to the gospel message. One of them said, “I loved the audience interaction. It inspired me to go to the next level of faith. I was amazed that so many young people my age were there and wanted to get closer to God.’

Message Bus

Keep your eyes out on the streets for our very own Message Wales bus. The double-decker bus is our state-of-the-art youth centre pack full of things to do including games consoles, a mixing desk, a nail bar and a ton of great games!
Partnering with local churches, the Message Bus runs projects in communities giving young people a safe and exciting place to hang out, and youth workers the chance to build relationships with the young people.
Every young person that steps on board gets to hear the gospel and the chance to connect with their local church.
