Despite the nation being locked down, Eden has kept growing with more and more people choosing to follow their call to urban mission and join an Eden team.
A couple of weeks ago our newest Eden team – Eden Blaen-Y-Maes – was launched in Swansea, South Wales.
Home to around 3,000 people, Blaen-Y-Maes is a town that many have forgotten about and desperately needs to hear about the love of Jesus. Partnering with Gendros Baptist Church our team will be building relationships within the local community and be the hands and feet of Jesus in the local area. Taking up the challenge leading the new team are Bramwell and his wife Natasha.
And they’ve hit the ground running. The team have been prayer walking around the community every Tuesday morning, and have also started youth work activities on Tuesday evenings. At the same time, they have got involved with the Blaen-Y-Maes Men’s Shed, a men’s mental health group, and have been providing food to those in need.
Do pray for our new team, that they will create deep and lasting relationships with the people of Blaen-Y-Maes and have many opportunities to share the gospel and see people come to know Jesus.
