Proximity 2019: Upside Down Kingdom

The 2019 Proximity Conference ‘Upside Down Kingdom’ is coming soon. BOOK NOW!

Dates: Friday 10 May – Saturday 11 May 2019
Times: 9.30am – 5pm (both days)
Location: The Message Trust, Lancaster House, Harper Road, Manchester, M22 4RG

Proximity aims is to equip, challenge and inspire those involved in and those seeking to be involved in ministry in marginalised communities. We aim for delegates to experience a sense of solidarity and encouragement together, receive from God in their time with us and receive some practical take-home advice for their day to day ministry.

At Proximity 2019 we want to envision God’s Church across the UK to build God’s upside-down kingdom in their communities. To encourage God’s people that God’s renewal always comes from the margins. To inspire Christians to look not to lift ourselves socially but to lower ourselves sacrificially. To equip an army of urban missionaries who remind the Church that if the gospel we are preaching is not good news to the poor is it not the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Proximity is hosted in Manchester by the Eden Network who have over 20 years of experience in sending and supporting teams of urban missionaries both across the UK and internationally.

Featuring guest speakers:
Esther Swaffield-Bray
Bishop Jill Duff

Sarah Small
