The OM Ship, Logos Hope, was recently in Cardiff, drawing crowds to it. Never wanting to miss an opportunity to tell young people about Jesus, our Wales team partnered with OM to put on an outreach event that teenagers would never forget on board the ship. And what a night it was!
Hundreds of young people watched the world record holding freestyle footballer DC Freestyle show off his skills. Between tricks, he and our team talked all things faith and football, so that every person in the room heard how loved they are by Jesus and the hope he offers. Each person had the chance to respond to what they’d heard and over 60 gospels were given away.
But that’s not all! The next day, 35 young people from local churches headed on board Logos Hope to take part in a Charge day we were running on the ship. After spending the morning learning how to share their faith and tell people about Jesus, they all stepped back onto dry land and headed into Cardiff Bay to put what they’d learnt into practice praying for those those they met and sharing the gospel with them.
