Bobby describes his old life as ‘drugs, crime, violence’ but things completely turned around when his partner, Sam, started shopping at the Community Grocery. She found community there, whilst Bobby was in prison, alongside the affordable food and essentials.
After Bobby returned home, Sam got two tickets to the store’s Christmas Extravaganza event. The couple took home one of the free hampers and went back to the church on a Sunday, just to say thanks. But as Bobby says, ‘The Lord was working’. Watch his full story below.
