Lasting Impact - The Message

Last weekend we got to celebrate as this year’s Message School of Evangelism students graduated!

We had a great time on Sunday as the students came together with their friends and family to share stories of how they’ve grown in their faith and how God used them. And the impact they’ve had has been incredible.

Over the 10 months that the students have been with us, growing in their evangelism and serving communities across the UK and beyond, they’ve shared the gospel with almost 7,000 people, lead 66 schools lessons and 8 assemblies, served at 23 youth groups and seen 174 people accept Jesus into their lives! How amazing!

At their graduation, the students shared story after story of how they’d prayed for healing and see people made well, how as they’ve shared about Jesus with people from other faiths they’ve seen them take Bibles to find out more, and seen people who were feeling low find new hope and peace in God.

One of the stories that was shared was about Nixon. The students met him whilst on mission in Sheffield. As they got talking to him, Nixon shared that he was feeling a lot of shame from things he’d done in the past. The students were able to share about the forgiveness and hope they find in Jesus and prayed that God would set Nixon free from all that he was battling. After they prayed, Nixon immediately felt a change in himself and decided there and then to give his life to Jesus!

Do thank God for all that the MSE students have done as they’ve stepped up and out sharing the love of Jesus in word and action, and please pray for all those that the team have met on mission. Pray God would grow the seeds that have been planted and that there will be even more lasting impact for Jesus than we know about!
