Genetik Sessions Summer School

Get your young people along for creative workshops and fun with Genetik Sessions. Running from 10am to 3pm between Monday 24 August to Wednesday 26 2026, young people can get involved with:

Ages 11-18:

• Pop Vocals
• Music Production
• Street Dance
• Football
• Gaming

Ages 9-11:

• Street Dance

Cost:

• £30 for all three days (includes lunch and a drink each day)
• £5 sibling discount available
• Bursary places are available for families experiencing financial hardship – we don’t want cost to be a barrier to attending. Find out more here.

By filling in the above form, we will need parent/guardian permissions. Please see the below statements:

I give my permission for the child(ren) listed above to attend Genetik Sessions.

Medical permissions:

I give my permission for The Message Trust (Genetik Sessions) to administer medication for minor ailments (plasters etc.) and manage any medication that my child takes regularly (asthma medication etc.)

If my child becomes ill or has an accident that requires emergency treatment, I authorise all medical and surgical treatment, X-ray, laboratory, anaesthesia and other medical and/or hospital procedures as may be performed or prescribed by the attending physician and/or paramedics for my child and waive my right to informed consent of treatment. This waiver applies only in the event that neither parent/guardian can be reached in the case of an emergency.

Photo/video permissions:

Genetik Sessions regularly takes photos and videos of visitors and activities for publicity purposes. Before taking images of children under the age of 18, we need parent/guardian permission.

I consent to images of my child for publicity purposes in brochures, press releases, on social media or on The Message website. If you do not consent, please contact the team at [email protected]

Other:

I consent to being responsible for the collection of my child in the event of inappropriate behaviour during the week.
