The Mess Café
The Mess Café is one of our Enterprises, serving high-quality food and coffee, whilst also training and supporting those with significant barriers to employment, such as ex-offenders and those experiencing homelessness.
Pop into the café Monday to Saturday, and you’ll find a lovely atmosphere, Heart and Graft coffee and locally sourced cakes and food. But it’s the people who make it.
Supporting those with significant barriers to employment is what we’re all about. Giving people the chance to learn skills and gain experience which they can take to other places, as well as providing discipleship to help grow them personally and professionally.
And it’s having huge impact. By supporting The Mess Café, you’re helping to reduce the rate of offending. With our 10 year re-offending rate being 13%, compared to the national average of 75%!
