After 10 packed days of schools mission, sharing the good news of Jesus with over 9,000 students, the Preston No More County Lines tour culminated in a high-energy LIFT gig on Saturday.
Hundreds of young people came along to hear gospel-packed music from mission bands NXT CHAPTR and OTC who they’d seen in school. And as they enjoyed the gig each young person there heard about the love and hope Jesus offers them.
Between the music, dance and fun, the4points were shared explaining the gospel boldly to everyone there. As they heard how each of us has a decision to make about whether we’re going to live for God or not, everyone in the room was given a chance to respond and give their lives to Jesus.
There and then, 97 young people put their hands in the air saying that they wanted to live for God! Each of these young people then got to chat to The Message and local church teams about the decision they’d made, were given a Bible and then told about the follow-up sessions happening throughout the local area that they can get involved in to find out more about Jesus.
And amazingly that wasn’t the only LIFT gig last week. As OTC performed at an event in Glasgow on Thursday night, 15 young people gave their lives to Jesus too!
What an impact! 112 young people’s lives changed for eternity as they discover Jesus’ love for them.
