Kelly joined our Eden South Bank team after an incredible call from God. She’s since seen God move in miraculous ways and has been bringing people along to Eden events and seeing their lives transformed as they’ve discovered Jesus’ love for them.
After giving her life to Jesus in 2002, Kelly’s been on a long journey through addiction and depression. ‘God chased me down, spoke through people in my life, and set me free,’ she said. Over the years, she’d regularly pray, but had never heard the audible voice of God until one night, when she was praising she clearly heard him say ‘If you love me, help my people’.
At this time, she got onboard with Eden South Bank and has seen God move in amazing ways through the team. ‘We see people just coming along to events and services, without inviting them, and getting to receive the good news of Jesus’.
This Christmas, they held an event expecting 150 people to turn up, 200 people came along! Even though they’d planned for fewer people, no one went without food or drink, and more people got to hear the gospel than they expected.
On top of their mid-week service, Eden South Bank are about to start Sunday services and move into a new building, which will allow them to do more mission and continue discipleship. Please be praying for the team as they prepare to reach even more of their community for Jesus.
