Each week we run Genetik Sessions creative workshops for young people. As they learn to break dance, produce music and sing, it’s amazing to see them also growing in their faith.
Jade and Ayesha are two young people who’ve got stuck in at Genetik. And as they have explored and expressed their creativity through the sessions, they’ve been getting more and more interested in Jesus, reading their Bibles and asking lots of questions about God and what it means to be a Christian.
Jade recently got chatting with Georgia during a dance session off the back of hearing a testimony shared by one of the Genetik Session tutors, and asked her ‘How do I give my life to God?’. Georgia grabbed the chance to share the gospel again with Jade who responded to it there and then!
A few minutes later, Ayesha came over to Georgia saying, ‘I want what Jade’s got!’ so she was able to share about Jesus again and Ayesha also became a Christian! We’ve been able to point them towards a local church and the girls are so excited to grow in their faith and find out more about Jesus at the next Genetik Session!
