In the run up to Festival Manchester we’re in schools with the Love Where U Live tour. Right across the North West young people are hearing about the love and hope that Jesus offers and our teams are having amazing conversations with them!
Off the back of a schools day, Neesha messaged Amongst Wolves saying that she didn’t have anyone to speak to about her mental health struggles and that she was feeling really lonely. Band member Clay was able to share how God is always with her and encouraged her to pray asking for God to give her his peace. The next day, Clay got a message from her saying, ‘I tried praying and it worked!’. How amazing!
It’s amazing to see young people’s lives transformed by the gospel. Off the back of schools days in Burnley and Blackburn, we held two gigs and saw over 420 young people come along with 175 responding to the gospel message they heard there.
And it’s not just in schools that the teams are able to have gospel-packed conversations. In Partington whilst helping out at a youth group in the area, Amongst Wolves got chatting to Jack, Ben and Aasif who they’d met at a gig last year. They’d heard Amongst Wolves were back and wanted to come along and chat with them again. Whilst there, the band shared the gospel with the group and all three young people responded!
