From the streets to the stages, our teams are grabbing every opportunity to share about the hope of Jesus.
MSE on mission
As our MSE students continue serving on their mission placements, we caught up with Anya to hear what happened when she got to speak as a Youth Nights event.
‘After sharing my story and a gospel talk at Middlesbrough Community Church, I left time open for prayer. Several girls came up to me and asked for a prayer, and one of these was Lola*. She shared that she had the same story as me and was really struggling. I was able to pray for her and encourage her. She’d thought she was alone in what she was going through but, through my testimony, realised that that’s not true and that God can help her through it.’
On stages in Germany
Creative mission team, NGHTNDAY, recently performed their gospel-packed tracks and shared their testimonies of what God has done in their lives at ‘Jesus Night’ in Kirchheimbolanden, Germany. Over 1,000 young people got to hear about the love of Jesus and, although the event was aimed to encourage Christians, many non-Christians were there and responded to the gospel that night!
The next day, the team also got to share the gospel with 200 more people at a family festival. It was amazing to see how open everyone was to hearing about Jesus, and people went up to the team saying, ‘The message of hope was exactly what I needed to hear today.’
