Our team in the Netherlands are taking mission up a gear. Just this month, the team have partnered with churches for region-wide prayer and worship, encouraged and equipped young people in their evangelism and seen them put this into practice through The Charge, and hosted a gospel-packed gig.
Whilst out on mission sharing the love of Jesus with those he and the team met, Willem met Bram* and they got chatting. Willem was able to invite Bram along to the evangelistic gig happening that Friday where band NXT CHAPTR would be performing their hope-filled tracks as well as sharing the gospel. Bram came to the gig, heard how loved he is by Jesus and gave his life to God. How amazing! He’s so excited in his new faith that he’s signed up to start coming along to the Youth Alpha course.
That day, the team also met Lotte*. As they talked, she was really open to hearing more about the love of Jesus. When the team shared the gospel, Lotte began to cry and asked to follow Jesus. There and then she accepted God into her life and she’s also been plugged into the Youth Alpha course!
That’s not all! Another young person taking part in The Charge was Coen*. He was initially nervous about sharing his faith but felt God encouraging him to invite a friend along to the gig to find out more about Christianity. His friend decided to come and loved hearing about what Jesus has done for us so responded right there to the gospel and he too has signed up to come to Youth Alpha.
It was such a special week of mission and seeing what God did.
