Every schools tour we do across the country – whether that’s the Ultimate Influencer, Respect ME or one of our ‘No More’ tours – is always in partnership with local churches.
At the end of every tour, each young person we’ve met in school is invited to an evangelistic LIFT gig where they can hear the good news of Jesus.
At a recent LIFT gig in Fleetwood (Lancashire), we saw 44 young people accept Jesus into their lives and every single person there took a Bible home with them! Team member Emma got chatting with two girls at the gig who shared they wanted to become Christians. She got to pray with them as they gave their lives to God and the girls left saying, ‘that was the best night ever!’ It was amazing to also see one of the school teachers praying with some of her students too. The teacher is hoping to start a Youth Alpha in the school after seeing so many of her students respond to the gospel at LIFT!
And it’s not just been on-the-day decisions. A local youth worker told our team that he got to reconnect with some of his youth at LIFT and now they’re wanting to come back to church and go along to more youth events the church are running! Praise God!
