Across the country and beyond, we’re helping people rebuild their lives through training, employment and Christian support.
We work with ex-offenders and those at risk of offending in businesses based in Manchester, London, Canada and South Africa. Through this work we give people the chance to overcome the cycles of reoffending and continue to transform their lives as they grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Our two-year programme starts with providing full time jobs in one of our businesses, gaining valuable work experience and skills as well as on the job training and support.
According to The Ministry of Justice, the national reoffending rate over 9 years is 75% but here at the MEC, it’s 13% over 10 years! And 100% of our programme graduates move on to gain further employment. Find out more below.
