As we’re heading into prisons up and down the country, we’re seeing God move in lives.
In Wales, Owain recently led a Bible study on a wing for 18-25 year olds. Gary, one of the lads who regularly comes to the group, brought along some of his mates who’d never been before with him. After some worship and chatting more how much God love us all, Owain shared the gospel and invited everyone there to respond. As they prayed, Gary and two of his mates gave their lives to Jesus!
Owain also caught up with Iestyn who had decided to accept Jesus into his life a couple of weeks ago. As they chatted, Iestyn shared that since they’d last met, he’d read the whole book of Mark and was so excited to chat more about Jesus and find out more about him. As they unpacked the Bible together and prayed, Iestyn couldn’t stop smiling and asked for a Bible to take to his cell mate too.
Another day, Owain was running a the4points course session, looking at Psalm 139:13 where it says, ‘For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.’ One of the guys there who is exploring more about the Christian faith and what it means to follow Jesus shared, ‘This verse helps me to see how much God cares about me.’
