All across the UK, our hubs are packing the summer full of mission.
In Wales, the team have been running a WILD youth group tour events that combining fun and high-energy activities with the gospel, games and giveaways.
Recently Message Wales partnered with Missional Links and Bethel Baptist in Llantwit Major for a week of mission, that culminated with a WILD night for local young people.
During the week, the Missional Links team from Texas went into the local high school and incredibly saw a student accept Jesus into their lives in a lesson as they shared about the love of God. Whilst they were in the school, they invited the young people to the WILD event, and over 55 young people came along!
At WILD, as well as having fun and taking part in games, each young person got to hear the gospel and 12 people responded! Some of the young people are now not only getting involved with the youth group but are regularly coming to church services too where they’re being discipled in their faith.
Not stopping there, the team also headed to Cardiff to run a WILD night in partnership with three local churches. All the young people had so much fun and brought along loads of their friends from school too. During the evening, the gospel was shared and four responded! Then in Llanelli, 50 young people headed along to another WILD event where six responded to the gospel.
It’s amazing to see how excited each of the young people’s been to find out more about Jesus. Do be praying for the Message Wales team as they continue to partner with local churches across Wales for WILD events.
