As our teams in the UK and abroad step out in faith, sharing the good news of Jesus in the streets, on stages and through mission events, they’re seeing lives change.
Jesus in our everyday conversations
As men and women across the world are being resourced to use everyday conversations to share the gospel through Advance groups, we’re seeing God do amazing things.
In Central African Republic, two sisters gave their lives to Jesus as they heard an Advance group share about him, and then immediately wanted to tell those around them about God. Some of those they chatted to got in touch with the local church off the back of the conversations, wanting to find out more about Jesus!
And that’s not all. An Advance group in Senegal have been running evangelistic concerts full of praise and worship where they share the gospel. At the first concert, 32 people responded to Jesus! And in Zimbabwe, Advance groups are training 91 Christians in prison to share the gospel with other prisoners!
Stepping up and out
On Message School of Evangelism (MSE), the students are trained and resourced to share the gospel in every situation. Some of the students recently went on a trip to Edinburgh and wanted to challenge themselves to tell someone about Jesus. Despite feeling nervous, the students felt prompted to chat to a man called Gary*. One of the group said, ‘I decided to be brave and share my testimony with Gary and he was really interested. Seeing how interested he was I shared the gospel with him and he decided to respond and give his life to Jesus there and then! We were able to pray for him and encourage him to go to a local church. It was amazing!’
Families transformed
Message Brazil recently partnered with three churches to run an Eden Santa Marta Kids’ Camp. Over six days, the team saw 50 children from the community come along to the camp.
The theme of the week was ‘Where is my treasure?’ and looked at the difference between earthly and heavenly treasures, and ultimately helping the children discover that the greatest treasure is Jesus. As the young people went home each evening and shared what they were learning about with their parents, eight adults from the families of the children gave their lives to Jesus!
Sharing Jesus
A teenager the Message Wales team met in Cardiff last summer, when she was part of a The Scattering mission week, recently started a new school. Knowing that she wanted her new friends to hear about Jesus, she decided to see if she could set up an Alpha in her school. Having connected with a local youth leader they’re now planning to launch an Alpha course as part of the school’s Enrichment sessions! The Scattering mission is happening again this summer in South Wales, the North East and in London and if you’d love your young people to learn to share the good news of Jesus with a new boldness we’d love to invite them to be part of it. Global Advance Day
A couple of weeks ago, we held our 2026 Global Advance Day, a day where thousands of people around the world gathered in small mentoring Advance groups and launched new groups. This year saw 15,000 new groups launched in just one day! If you’d love to catch up on what a special day it was, you can check out our special broadcast from the day here.
