Yorkshire And Humberside

Across Yorkshire and Humberside, we are passionate about sharing the gospel with young people and partnering with the local church through our different ministry areas.

With renovations now complete the Yorkshire & Humberside Team are pleased to present Message Community Hub, Woodseats. The building is the venue for our warm and welcoming flexible workspace, with desks available to book by the day, as well as providing space for training and events. Office space within the lower ground floor is rented by local charities and organisations, and our balcony is now the home to a recording studio. We’re also continuing to look at opportunities for Christ-centred enterprise across the region.

Regionally we are developing new Eden Teams, Community Grocery partnerships, youth prayer events, and continuing to develop connections with local churches. We have a passion for evangelism and discipleship and encourage the local church and young people to be well equipped to share the good news of Jesus. In Sheffield alone, 27 new Advance groups are about to start. You can find out more about getting involved with Advance here.

What We Do

Community Groceries

Community Groceries are all about bridging the gap between supermarkets and foodbanks. Using surplus food fresh from local supermarkets, our groceries make the cost of the weekly shop more affordable.

Creative Mission

Our mission bands go into secondary schools using their music to deliver lessons that support the RE & SMSC curriculum. We work with partner churches to host outreach gigs that communicate the gospel and provide young people with a chance to connect with their local church.

Eden

We have three active Eden teams living and working in some of the region’s most deprived estates, bringing a message of hope to many people in a desperate state of need. Our teams are based in Bradford and Sheffield and we are always looking for new team members to join us.

Prisons

We have a full time Outreach Worker based in a prison in West Yorkshire supporting the chaplaincy team, delivering services and providing pastoral care to the young people.

Our Respect ME team deliver hard hitting secondary school lessons that tackle some of the most challenging and prevalent issues in youth culture such as abuse, sexting and self-esteem.
